Assembly Bill 390, the Marijuana Control, Regulation, and Education Act -- the first bill ever introduced to legalize the sale and use of marijuana in California. The Public Safety Committee will be voting on the bill on January 12, 2010. If the bill passes the vote in Public Safety, it will then be heard and voted on by the Health Committee that very same day.
